Surf Coast Century Ultra Marathon Race Adventure 2026: Deposit

Dates September 11th Friday - 14th Monday

We’re all set for this year’s 2026 Surf Coast Century Race Adventure! Mark your calendar September 11th to 14th, because we’ve already booked great accommodation for you in the heart of scenic Anglesea. The early bird cost is $950 per person (standard cost $1150 after 28th February 2026) and we require a $250 deposit to secure your place. The remaining balance for this adventure will need to be paid by 1st September 2026

Who this adventure is for

Trail Runners that have a reasonable level of fitness. If you are unsure, please reach out, as we are able to cater for all abilities.

Inclusions

Trail Trekkers will provide:

  • Transport from Melbourne Airport to Anglesea and back to Melbourne Airport.
  • Comfortable share accommodation for 3 nights (double and single shared rooms).
  • Friday night home cooked meal and continental breakfast.
  • Daily transfers to and from the race, events, restaurants, and some sightseeing on Sunday.
  • Some crew support.
  • An event specific training plan for both 50, 100 and relay team event courses by the greatest coach in the world … Tracy.
  • A legendary Trail Trekkers buff. 
  • Guaranteed friendships.

  • Running/hiking clothing
  • Trail Shoes
  • Capacity to carry 1.5 litres of water
  • Snake bandage and emergency blanket
  • Phone
  • Sunscreen & Insect repellent
  • First Aide (Blister Management)
  • Fuel (e.g.Tail Wind) and Snacks (e.g. muesli bars, trail mix, lollies)
  • Mandatory equipment as required for chosen race options
  • Credit card or phone to pay for meals and personal expenses

Waiver, Terms & Conditions

Before signing up to this adventure please be sure to read through our adventure policy. You will be asked to complete a waiver and medical form before departure. All participants are to:

  • follow the instructions provided by Trail Trekkers and the Group Leader;
  • have an existing level of trail running experience and fitness;
  • be non-competitive (this is a guided introduction for people to try out fast pack running);
  • always run/hike with a buddy for safety and enjoyment;
  • slow down and walk past other walkers and wildlife, respecting other users in the area we are using;
  • alert other walkers when approaching, keep left for cyclists, and give way to horse riders on shared trails;
  • carry their own water, food, appropriate clothing (including thermals and rainwear), medications as required, basic first aid (snake bandage and emergency blanket) and mobile phone;
  • warm up and cool down (drills and stretches will be guided);
  • carry out all rubbish;
  • Follow bush toileting practices

Safety Information

Safety on our adventures is our number one priority. The following safety measures will be implemented by Trail Trekkers as part of this adventure:

  • Clear instructions will be provided before heading off, and ensure no runner gets left behind.
  • Running will be during daylight hours only.
  • The route may be modified for participants that are struggling, which may include going to the nearest campsite, and returning back to the start point rather than continue through the hike.
  • The Group Leader will have a mobile phone and satellite navigation device and know how to use and send location coordinates to emergency services if required.
  • All runners will have the Group Leaders’ mobile number, in case they need to make contact during the adventure.
  • Runners/hikers will be made aware of hazards while moving over the trail eg; low branch, trip hazard, wildlife, etc, and clarification for deaf and blind runners.
  • Regular drink and food breaks will be regularly provided, and Group Leaders will monitor participants for signs of fatigue, dehydration or heat stress..
  • Runners and hikers will be encouraged to run/hike with a buddy.
  • A full First Aid Kit will always be available in the Group Leader’s car with participants knowing how to access.
  • Rain events with 50mm or more rain will result in events being postponed or cancelled.
  • Planned burns in NPWS areas occur at times and we may need to modify routes if required, or reschedule events.
