Terms and Conditions for Trail Running, Fast Packing, and Hiking Adventures

Before booking one of our adventures, please carefully read and understand the following terms and conditions. You will also be asked to sign a waiver and complete a medical form before departure.

1. Assumption of Risks:

By participating in our trail running, fast packing, and hiking adventures, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with outdoor activities, including but not limited to rough terrain, unpredictable weather conditions, wildlife encounters, and physical exertion. You agree that Trail Trekkers, its guides, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any injuries, damages, or losses sustained during the adventure.

2. Health and Fitness:

You affirm that you are in good health and physical condition suitable for the chosen adventure. It is your responsibility to disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or limitations that may affect your ability to participate safely. Trail Trekkers reserve the right to refuse participation to individuals deemed unfit for the activity.

3. Equipment and Gear:

You are responsible for bringing appropriate clothing, footwear, and personal gear suitable for the adventure. Trail Trekkers will provide a recommended gear list for reference. We strongly advise adhering to this list for your safety and comfort. Trail Trekkers is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during the adventure.

4. Conduct and Responsibilities:

During the adventure, you agree to follow the instructions of our experienced guides and adhere to safety protocols at all times. You are responsible for your own actions and must respect fellow participants, guides, local communities, and the environment. Any behaviour deemed unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful may result in expulsion from the adventure without refund.

5. Booking and Payments:

To secure your spot on an adventure, a non-refundable full payment is required at the time of booking through our website.

6. Cancellations and Refunds:

In the event of a cancellation by Trail Trekkers due to unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather or insufficient participant numbers, you will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. Refunds for cancellations initiated by participants are subject to our cancellation policy, outlined in the booking terms.

7. Changes to Itinerary:

While we strive to adhere to the planned itinerary, Trail Trekkers reserves the right to modify or cancel activities, routes, or accommodations at our discretion. Such changes may be necessary due to factors beyond our control, including weather conditions, trail closures, or safety concerns.

8. Photography and Media:

You consent to Trail Trekkers using photographs, videos, or other media captured during the adventure for promotional and marketing purposes. If you prefer not to be featured, please notify us in writing prior to the adventure.

9. Governing Law:

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms and conditions shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of Queensland, Australia.
